The legal job title was awarded in the Federal Republic of Germany (federal state: Hamburg).
The tax consultant profession is governed in the main by the following regulations:
a) Steuerberatungsgesetz (StBerG) [German Tax Advisory Act]
b) Durchführungsverordnungen zum Steuerberatungsgesetz (DVStB) [Regulations for the implementation of the German Tax Advisory Act]
c) Berufsordnung (BOStB) [German Tax Consultants’ Code of Conduct]
d) Steuerberatergebührenordnung (StBGebV) [Schedule of fees for German Tax Consultants]
The aforementioned regulations pertaining to the tax consultant profession can be perused at the competent Hamburg Chamber of Tax Consultants or at the Federal Chamber of Tax Consultants.
